WildThings NSW, supported by Ku-ring-gai Council, has commenced two projects which focus on the use of “Artificial” hollows and “Natural” hollows for native wildlife in an attempt to mitigate habitat loss caused by such things as the removal of trees from properties, including old growth trees, clearing of bushland for development, etc.

To date, more than 80 residents of the Ku-ring-gai Council area have made contact with us to obtain one of the “Natural” hollows for their gardens. More applications are welcome.
This Workshop will demonstrate a number of applications for these hollows, both at ground and tree levels.

Presenters will include:
Michael Sullings, Consulting Arborist, Sydney Arbor Trees
Paul Schiebaan, President Ku-ring-gai Community Workshop (The Shed)
Peter Clarke, Community Volunteer Program Coordinator, Ku-ring-gai Council.
